We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCad, as well as developing specs of piping systems to ensure NAVSEA compliance in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCad.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCad
  • Develop specs of piping systems to ensure NAVSEA compliance
  • Collaborate with Senior 3D Checker to ensure drawings meet Navy Specs
  • Work on a large shipbuilding project supporting the U.S. Navy
Requirements:
  • Background in the maritime shipbuilding industry
  • Experience designing piping systems as a prime on a Navy contract
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCad, Navis, and ShipConstructor
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
