Job Overview

Veritas Veterinary Partners is thrilled to announce an opportunity for dedicated Veterinary Technicians (CVT or Experienced) to join our team in a newly established emergency clinic.


Work Schedule:

Our practice operates on a flexible schedule, ensuring coverage seven days a week with shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM.


Role Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and triaging patients as necessary
  • Conducting laboratory tests and analyses
  • Performing medical calculations
  • Inserting IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
  • Maintaining precise treatment records and anesthesia logs
  • Collecting and preparing blood samples for diagnostic purposes
  • Evaluating pain levels in patients and providing appropriate support
  • Advocating for patients and delivering compassionate care
  • Educating clients on at-home care practices
  • Administering and monitoring anesthesia
  • Dispensing medications as prescribed
  • Assisting in overall patient care
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization within the clinic
  • Handling client communications and check-ins

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT preferred) or a minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Skills in processing laboratory specimens
  • A solid understanding of animal anatomy and physiology
  • Knowledge of normal and abnormal physiological ranges
  • A commitment to mentoring and training junior staff
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A compassionate demeanor and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A dedication to providing exceptional client service
  • Integrity, honesty, and a willingness to learn
