Job Overview

Emmy Squared, a dynamic restaurant company, is seeking Restaurant Dining Hosts to join our Midtown West team.

A competitive salary of $16.00 per hour (tipped position) offers an opportunity for advancement in a fun and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Courteous Guest Service: Provide prompt service to guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Adhere to established Steps of Service to maintain high standards.
  • Accurately enter guest orders into the POS system.
  • Display extensive knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
  • Personalize the guest experience by understanding individual needs and offering suggestions.
  • Communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to culinary staff effectively.
  • Perform opening and closing duties efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Demonstrate a positive demeanor during service.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect oneself, colleagues, and guests.
  • Fulfill other duties assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Prior roles requiring excellent customer service, cash handling, service recovery, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to responsibly serve alcohol to restaurant patrons.
  • Capable of working efficiently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple tasks.
  • Skill in collaborating with colleagues throughout the restaurant.
  • Dedication to hospitality and passion for the food and beverage industry.
  • Flexible scheduling capabilities.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds, frequently bending, reaching overhead, and twisting. Requires prolonged standing or walking.
