Endoscopy Technician

Charleston GI is a leading gastroenterology practice in the Lowcountry, with a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team at the Lowcountry Endoscopy Center.

• Prepare procedure rooms in a timely manner and assist physicians with endoscopic procedures.
• Assist with documentation of pathology specimens and room turnaround.
• Perform high-level disinfection of endoscopic scopes and equipment.
• Unload supplies and scan documents into the electronic medical record.

• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or graduation from a medical assisting/surgical technician program.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
