Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department. This role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are mandatory.
  • Must have completed 8 total Stroke contact hours including NIHSS and TNCC or 4 Trauma contact hours (can be obtained prior to starting).
Job Details
  • Previous staff employees are not eligible for this position.
  • This is an auto-offer position.
  • The contract length is 13 weeks.
  • RTO must be provided at the time of submission.
  • A valid NJ or Compact license is required at the time of submission.
  • Minimum of 2 years current ED experience is required.
  • Must be capable of caring for ED patients across all acuity levels and ages, including pediatrics.
  • Travel pairs will not be accepted.
  • No on-call duties are required.
  • No blocked scheduling will be accommodated.
  • Mandatory education classes will be held during the onboarding week.
  • Patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4-5, depending on staffing.
  • Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred.
  • First-time travelers with ED experience are welcome.
  • Standard uniform is navy blue scrubs.
  • Travelers must complete the necessary documentation within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Mandatory education classes will be conducted during the onboarding week to ensure all staff are prepared for their roles.
