About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Urologist to join our team at Dignity Health, a leading healthcare organization in the Sacramento region. As a Partnership Track Urology Physician, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, providing exceptional medical care to patients in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including urological disorders and cancers.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account the latest medical advancements and best practices.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, using your expertise to identify potential issues and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the treatment process.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information, using plain language to explain complex medical concepts.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using electronic health records to ensure efficient and secure data management.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, using standardized templates and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations, using your knowledge of medical coding and billing to optimize revenue and minimize errors.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, using your expertise to identify potential issues and develop effective treatment strategies.
    • Perform procedures as needed, using your skills and experience to ensure safe and effective care.
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation, using your knowledge of medical specialties to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, working together to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, using your expertise to inform and guide treatment decisions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers, using your knowledge and experience to support and educate colleagues.
  • Quality Improvement:
