Responsibilities
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role in:
- Delivering pre-hospital care and safe transportation for individuals within the designated service area, as well as assisting neighboring areas when necessary.
- Conducting equipment inspections and performing basic maintenance on emergency vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage and patient interactions through established data reporting systems.
- Engaging in ongoing evaluation and enhancement of EMT skills to improve service delivery to the community.
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid EMT license recognized by the appropriate regulatory body.
- Possess a clean driving record or have a driving history subject to management review.
- Have a valid driver's license.
The pay rate for this position is $22.42 per hour. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
