The CT Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. This position involves operating advanced computerized tomography equipment to capture detailed images of various anatomical structures across all patient demographics, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Certification Requirements- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
- Perform CT scans for a wide range of clinical scenarios, including trauma, stroke, cardiovascular issues, and routine examinations.
- Work within a Level 2 trauma center, ensuring proficiency in handling diverse patient needs.
- Maintain and operate CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the CT specialty.
- Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
The typical work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexibility is required, including availability to work during the Thanksgiving holiday if necessary.
