We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Emergency Services team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a per diem nurse, you will work on a variable shift schedule, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, adhering to hospital policies and procedures while promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Relevant certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
