Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Program Director, the role involves assisting in the delivery of residential program services. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with team members to plan, evaluate, and implement effective program strategies.
- Managing a caseload and offering both group and individual recovery services.
- Engaging in community outreach, education, and prevention initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for program and client needs.
- Working closely with the Residential Coordinator to monitor program progress.
- Ensuring compliance with house rules and safeguarding the welfare of residents and visitors.
- Attending court sessions with clients when necessary.
- Continuously pursuing professional development and certification maintenance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A completed drug studies certificate program.
- Certification under CAADE, CCAPP, or CADTP.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a residential treatment setting.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A solid understanding of alcohol and drug addiction and recovery processes.
- If in recovery, a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
