Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at Ambercare, you will work with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, following a written physician's plan of care and in accordance with the state Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities, including teaching new skills and retraining patients in daily activities.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records and reports, as required by our policies.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • At least two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist (preferred).
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
