We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. As a key member of our nursing education team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff, including competency assessments, job growth and development, and career advancement.
- Collaborate with inter-professional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to facilitate nursing practice and positive outcomes for consumers.
- Conduct assessments of practice gaps and identify learning needs to inform educational programming.
- Implement educational plans through coordination with others to facilitate a positive learning and practice environment.
- Document evaluation data and disseminate evaluation results of learning activities.
- Perform role in a non-judgmental, nondiscriminatory, and ethical manner that is sensitive to learner diversity.
- Current knowledge and competency in nursing and professional development practice.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
