Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist
Job Summary:
TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a top-rated healthcare facility. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
