Job Summary: As a Supervisor-Admissions, you will be responsible for managing admitting personnel in assigned areas. You will act as a support/consultant personnel to decentralized admission areas, under the direction of the Admitting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of admission personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and quality services.
- Communicate policies and goals to enhance employee skills, management, and leadership.
- Maintain budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction, enhance profitability, and optimal resource utilization.
- Demonstrate Service First characteristics to all, setting an example for the department and other hospital personnel.
- Perform related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed without complaint.
Requirements and Preferences:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous clerical experience, customer service skills, and previous admitting experience or physician office experience are required. CHAA or CPAR certification is preferred.
