Culinary Arts Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Arts Instructor to join our team at Alvin Community College. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the classroom, developing curriculum, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

• Instruct and supervise students in culinary arts techniques and principles
• Develop and implement course syllabi and assessments
• Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and utilize technology to facilitate learning
• Assist in recruitment and retention of students
• Advise students in academic matters and provide guidance on career paths

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food Science or Hotel/Restaurant Management, or an Associate's degree with 3 years of non-teaching work experience. Additionally, ServSafe certification is required.
