Stockroom Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team at Food City. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our store's shelves are fully stocked and merchandise is rotated regularly to maintain freshness and quality.

• Stock grocery merchandise on shelves, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
• Rotate all merchandise when stocking to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Clean and straighten shelves to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Assist with signing in and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely receipt of merchandise.
• Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory levels according to the store's daily needs.
• Assist with nightly bank deposits according to policies and procedures.
• Verify correct shelf tags are in place to ensure accurate pricing and product information.
• Assist with stacking of product in the stock room, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Bale all boxes to ensure efficient storage and organization.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the store, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
• Assist with all departmental paperwork, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Run register as needed, providing excellent customer service and handling transactions efficiently.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Assist with bagging customers' groceries, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
• Enforce and maintain all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all associates.
