BAYADA Home Health Care is a leading provider of home health care services, seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes.

As a home health occupational therapist, you will work independently to assess the functional status of patients, identify areas of improvement, and develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes. Your expertise will also include evaluating home environments for hazards or barriers to independent living, identifying equipment needs, and educating patients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote healthy living.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current MD Occupational Therapist license.
  • Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
