Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum and Newborn Unit at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. As a Contract RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to new mothers and their babies. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to postpartum and newborn patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Active Texas RN license
  • 2+ years of hospital experience, preferably in postpartum and newborn care
  • NRP and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
