Door-to-Dumpster Waste Collector

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trash and Recycling Service Technician to join our team at WSI Trash & Recycling Valet. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of apartment communities.

• Collect and transport bagged trash, recycling, and broken-down cardboard from residents' door sides using on-site equipment.
• Separate recyclables into designated dumpsters and inspect for contamination.
• Engage with residents, providing a friendly and professional service.
• Issue Educational Courtesy Compliance Notices for non-compliant trash or contaminated recycling, along with taking necessary photos.
• Upload photos and compliance notices into our app to document findings.
• Clean up loose trash around dumpsters, chute rooms, or compactors.
• Return equipment to designated location after service completion.
• Additional tasks may include replacing bags at pet waste stations, collecting bagged pet waste, and managing community waste bins near doors or common areas.

• Must be conscientious, reliable, and exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude towards on-site management and residents.
• A valid Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle in Utah is required.
• Must be able to physically lift and transport up to 50 lbs. and work in indoor and outdoor environments during various weather conditions.
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Possess a smartphone with an active data plan and location services enabled.
