Role Overview: The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for conducting in-person tours for potential residents and effectively promoting the available units to drive application submissions. This position will focus on enhancing occupancy rates and minimizing vacancies through strategic marketing and local market analysis. Additionally, the Leasing Specialist will play a crucial role in improving the move-in experience for new residents after lease agreements are finalized, as well as enhancing the overall visual appeal of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled in-person tours with prospective residents visiting the property.
  • Arrange appointments for potential residents to explore available units.
  • Oversee the leasing process from initial contact with prospective residents to property tours, effectively selling the apartments and facilitating lease agreements.
  • Ensure that model and target apartments are prepared for showcasing, while maintaining the community's curb appeal.
  • Coordinate and lead comprehensive move-in orientations for new residents, providing essential information about the property, amenities, and community guidelines to enhance their living experience from day one.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in technology, including computer software and iPad usage.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background screening prior to employment.
  • Note: If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening, the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment will be required.
