Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our patient care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients, and managing the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical hygiene functions, including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, and performing adult and child prophylaxis.
- Verify and document patient health history and educate patients about oral hygiene, health, and disease.
- Determine needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
- Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
- Current hygiene license where employed.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
- Experience with dental software.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental benefits, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) with 4% matching, holiday pay, and paid time off. Our dental hygienists are also offered CEs at no charge and a positive work environment.
Salary Range: $40-52 per hour
