Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Auburn, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our 150-bed facility in central New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • ARRT-CT certification
  • NY state license
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekdays, 7a-730p or 8a-830p
  • Must be able to start own IVs
  • Experience with Philips Ingenuity 128 slice scanners
