Job Overview

Position: Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to identify and resolve fundamental electrical and mechanical issues associated with machinery and equipment. Your duties will encompass executing basic repairs utilizing general maintenance skills, tools, and techniques. Additionally, you will engage in preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, which include lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning machinery.

Your role will also necessitate basic welding for the repair and fabrication of mechanical systems. You will be involved with electrical, hydraulic, PLC, combustion, and pneumatic systems. A critical aspect of your position will be the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Essential Skills
  • Proficiency with mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of electrical systems
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Basic welding skills
  • Fundamental PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints
Work Environment

This role is conducted entirely on-site.

The work schedule includes two shifts: 3 pm to 11 pm or 11 pm to 7 am. Training on the day shift for approximately six months is mandatory. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, with potential overtime on weekends. The work environment is characterized as heavy industrial.

Compensation: $32/hr.
