About the Role

Surgery Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
  • Assist Surgeons: Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants during procedures.
  • Monitor Patient Care: Observe patients' vital signs, check charts, and assist the surgical team with putting on sterile gowns and gloves.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and help operate diagnostic equipment.
  • Post-Operative Care: Help transfer patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Certification: Certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to be on your feet for long periods, lift or turn disabled patients, and communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone.
