Manufacturing Specialist

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-4 years prior experience in a similar position
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Clerical skills
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects
- Physical stamina
