We offer a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, plus additional benefits and bonuses. This full-time position requires a 6-month initial commitment, with a flexible schedule that includes 10-hour shifts and 15 days of call per month.

The ideal candidate will have board certification in both Medical Oncology and Hematology, as well as an active Oregon license and DEA registration. You will also need ACLS certification and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at a Level IV critical access hospital, where you will be working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, including two pharmacists, a social worker, and a registered dietitian. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including a PET/CT scanner and radiation therapy department.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer, including hematology and oncology. Your duties will include conducting exams, developing treatment plans, and ordering diagnostic tests. You will also be required to perform triaging via phone for established patients and provide education to patients and their families on disease management and treatment options.

In terms of patient volume, you can expect to see an average of 10-12 patients per day, with no more than two new patients per day. Appointments will range from 30 minutes to one hour in length.
