Coatings Technician

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

Natural Gas Fuel Systems LLC is seeking a skilled Coatings Technician to join our team. As a key member of our body shop crew, you will be responsible for refinishing vehicles to meet pre-accident condition or industry standards of quality.

• You will examine damaged vehicles and estimate the cost of repairs, reporting any hidden damage to your supervisor immediately.
• Maintain all body shop equipment in good safe working condition.
• Clean paint areas and tools and equipment, as well as maintain proper stocking levels of paint and materials.

We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of related work experience in a similar position. You must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets our insurance carrier's guidelines.

1. Examine damaged vehicles and estimates cost of repairs.
2. Report any lost or broken parts to the supervisor.
3. Maintain all body shop equipment in good safe working condition.
4. Maintain spray booth and mixing equipment, keeping the mixing room in good working condition.
5. Clean paint areas and tools and equipment.
6. Maintain proper stocking levels of paint and materials.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also need to:

• Ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Alert the production manager to any unusual problems and delays.
• Demonstrate positive corporate citizenship and adherence to Rush Driving Principles.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• At least 2-3 years of related work experience in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets our insurance carrier's guidelines.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and operating manuals.
