Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including residents, families, and staff.
    • Perform job duties in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring resident satisfaction and safety.
    • Meet and greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
  • Housekeeping
    • Follow cleaning schedules and instructions to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
    • Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas, including resident rooms and public spaces.
    • Clean and polish all room furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces.
    • Empty all wastebaskets and submit maintenance work orders as needed.
    • Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the supervisor or maintenance director.
  • Resident Rights and Training
    • Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding residents' rights.
    • Attend all required in-service training to maintain knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • One year of related experience in a similar environment, with on-the-job training preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions.
  • Must be able to work full or part-time on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB.
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular, reliable attendance.
  • Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
