Position Overview:

The Cyber Training Assessment Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the management of a comprehensive evaluation and assessment program across the Department of Defense (DoD). This position involves assisting in the oversight of the Lessons Learned Program, ensuring effective coordination with various Services and Combatant Commands to promote best practices and resolve issues at the appropriate levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold evaluation standards and criteria for assessors involved with the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) and other Joint Cyberspace operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure alignment with objectives, reinforce Joint standards, and support the readiness assessment of Cyberspace forces.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Joint client concerning evaluation tools, processes, and standards.
  • Facilitate the validation of CMF and other USCYBERCOM forces to meet necessary training standards for executing cyberspace operations.
  • Review training objectives for collective training and exercise events, while assisting in tracking observations, evaluations, assessments, and lessons learned from both internal and external training and exercise events.
  • Support the coordination and development of Joint mission essential tasks and assess USCYBERCOM's capability to meet established standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with or supporting a Combatant Command (COCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), or CMF team.
  • At least 4 years of experience in evaluating and assessing operations, exercises, and training.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing lessons learned.
  • Familiarity with observation and control methodologies.
  • Experience in data-gathering techniques, including conducting working groups, interviews, and surveys.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Overview:

Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.
