About the Role
The Massage Therapist is a key member of our spa team at Sunriver Resort, responsible for delivering exceptional body treatments and massages to our guests. As a Massage Therapist, you will be part of a team that creates unique and authentic experiences for our guests, providing a range of touch modalities and suggesting products and services to meet individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional service to each guest, performing services within allotted time frames.
- Perform chair massages at various resort events, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Offer general resort information to guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Deliver consistent and professional body treatments, adhering to spa protocols and certification practices.
- Maintain equipment and use products efficiently to control costs.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of all services and products, educating and training guests in these areas.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any staff or guest issues that require attention.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, clinics, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and discounts available.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of experience giving massage and body treatments in a similar setting preferred.
- Valid Oregon massage therapy license required.
- At least one year of customer service experience required.
- CPR certification necessary.
- Strong English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Passion for assisting guests in achieving their beauty and wellness goals.
- Ability to learn product and service knowledge to provide effective wellness solutions.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
