Culinary Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Culinary Intern to join our team at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

As a Culinary Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a live professional kitchen, rotating through various stations and preparing and cooking menu items for our dining outlets.

You will work closely with our experienced culinary team to develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Rotate through various kitchen stations to gain experience and develop skills
• Prepare and cook menu items for our dining outlets
• Work closely with our culinary team to develop recipes and menus
• Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet production schedules
