Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Adjust technical factors to optimize image quality
  • Assist radiologists with complex procedures
  • Process and manipulate images, analyzing quality and making adjustments as needed
  • Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, assessing and recognizing patients' emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • 1 year of medical imaging experience, with 1 year of MRI experience preferred
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR certification
