Geriatric Nursing Assistant

At Lorien Health Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at our Mount Airy facility. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients in accordance with policies and procedures
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration and documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
- Current Maryland GNA license
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
