Position Overview:
Join DCS Corp as a Flight Test Engineer focusing on the F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Mission Systems/Communication Navigation Information (AVMS/CNI) Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and prepare flight cards for aircraft evaluations during the development and verification phases.
2. Conduct and deliver comprehensive flight briefings.
3. Establish and communicate flight test objectives effectively.
4. Design and present operational plans for live fire events.
5. Create detailed flight test profiles.
6. For modifications to test flight profiles, generate addendums for the Flight Test Plan and secure necessary approvals.
7. Manage flight test scheduling and report on the actual usage of ordnance during testing.
8. Provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies related to test resource constraints.
9. Ensure the hazard tracking system is consistently updated based on test outcomes.

Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance throughout their employment.
3. Training for prospective Flight Test Engineers will be provided by experienced on-site personnel.
4. Proven experience with requirements traceability is essential.
5. Familiarity with safety issues is necessary.
6. Experience with aircraft configuration and external configuration is required.
7. Knowledge of flight test profiles is essential.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Mission Systems, as well as Communication, Navigation, and Information Systems, is advantageous.
