Transformative Technology Role

Capital One is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Back End to join our team and drive innovation in the financial services industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers
  • Design and develop technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies, including Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and participate in internal and external technology communities to share knowledge and best practices
  • Utilize Agile practices to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and full-stack development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
