About the Job
">As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits throughout our Corporation. This role leads audit project teams and provides technical expertise to auditors within the engagement team.

- Accountable for own assignments and hold others accountable
Audit Methodology
">- Identify risk and controls within processes and provide risk assessment
- Lead internal audit projects related to IT general controls, information security/cyber, pre/post system implementation, IT governance, and operational areas
- Assist with the development of the audit budget and timeframe for completion
- Finalize planning documents and conduct first-level review
- Coordinate with other audit teams to ensure timely evaluations
- Demonstrate professional skepticism and comfort questioning processes
- Apply analytical skills to review information and assess audit results
- Review work papers ensuring departmental standards have been met
- Communicate audit status to stakeholders and management
- Draft findings and recommendations
- Maintain technical competence through ongoing training
Qualifications
">- Minimum 4-5 years of IT auditing experience with a focus on information security and cyber security controls
- Solid knowledge of audit procedures and technical security standards
- Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and non-ITGCs
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) controls
- Skills needed to perform testing of design and operational effectiveness of application controls
- Knowledge of operations, functions, and objectives of interfacing areas
- Operates independently with in-depth knowledge of business unit/function
- Knowledge of systems software applications and databases is a plus
- Understanding of networks, routers, and firewalls is also a plus
