FPGA Verification Engineer Job Description

HRTA LLC is seeking a skilled FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining proprietary software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control our low-latency blended hardware and software trading system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software tools in C++ and Python to automate parts of the engineering workflow.
  • Identify root-cause issues and implement hardware verification components.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware designs using the Verdi waveform tool.
  • Debug failures and resolve operational issues in the testbench using INDAGO debug and simulation software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in the position offered or as Design Verification Engineer, or related experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with C++, Python, and Linux scripting programming.
  • Knowledge of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) design and development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
