Job Summary
Avera Oahe Manor is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Flex Nurse position. As a key member of our interdisciplinary client care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our patient-focused settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will plan and coordinate direct resident care services, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
- You will serve as a core member of the client care team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- As a licensed LPN, you will have the authority to assess, plan, evaluate, and teach in patient situations, making informed decisions to ensure the best possible care.
- You will also carry out administrative responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Nursing, contributing to the smooth operation of our healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong background in patient care and nursing practices.
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which will be offered on-site.
Work Schedule
- Day/Night shifts, PRN, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our patients and team.
- 6 weekend shifts per year, with opportunities for overtime and professional growth.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $35.00, with opportunities for advancement and professional development based on experience and performance.
