Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ocean House Management. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the kitchen.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Coordinate the purchase of all food and beverages, maintaining approved food costs and labor costs.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Provide coaching and direction to culinary staff for developmental purposes.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and professional presentation, upholding the company's standards and policies.
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a luxury food and beverage operation.
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy under pressure.
  • Uphold the company's standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks and work area.
  • Ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
  • Collaborate cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest/staff information and pertinent hotel data.
  • 1-year previous luxury hotel operations experience preferred.
