Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at RN-Staff. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate patient information, and ensure seamless transitions
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements
  • Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, completed within six (6) months of hire
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification, completed within six (6) months of hire
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIHSS certification, completed within six (6) months of hire

The ICU is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Our hospital is a JCAHO-accredited health center, serving a 4,400 square mile area and providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.
