Substation Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Substation Estimator / Project Manager to join our team at Wilson Construction Co. in Tempe, Arizona.

• Provide technical and project management leadership on large, fast-paced utility substation construction projects.
• Estimate, develop, plan, coordinate, and fulfill all technical requirements related to assigned proposals and projects.
• Coordinate proposal and project communication interdepartmentally and with the project owner when necessary.

• Five years of office and field management or technical services experience related to 69kv to 500kV utility electrical substation construction.
• Two years of experience as a lead estimator and project manager on substation-oriented utility projects.
• Background in transmission and distribution estimating and construction is beneficial.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, and Primavera skills are beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outside and travel as required.
