Job Summary

Cable One and our family of brands are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager to prepare quarterly and year-end domestic tax provisions (ASC 740), maintain quarterly SOX checklists, and assist with responding to information requests from F/S auditors. You will also prepare federal and state income tax estimates and extensions, prepare federal and state income tax returns, and assist with responding to various tax authority requests/notices/audits. Additionally, you will stay up to date and conduct tax research on various federal and state/local income tax issues, assist with managing the Federal and State tax books for fixed assets, and assist with the tax aspects in pre-acquisition diligence and post-acquisition integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end domestic tax provisions (ASC 740)
  • Maintain quarterly SOX checklists
  • Assist with responding to information requests from F/S auditors
  • Prepare federal and state income tax estimates and extensions
  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns
  • Assist with responding to various tax authority requests/notices/audits
  • Stay up to date and conduct tax research on various federal and state/local income tax issues
  • Assist with managing the Federal and State tax books for fixed assets
  • Assist with the tax aspects in pre-acquisition diligence and post-acquisition integrations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years tax experience at national public accounting firms or a minimum of 3 years for non-public tax experience
  • BA in Accounting, Business or related field
  • Masters in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • CPA certification, preferred
  • OneSource experience preferred
