We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Quality Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality care by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and Liberty HomeCare's policies and procedures.
- Administer Medications: Administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to Liberty HomeCare's policies.
- Lead and Guide Nursing Staff: Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Assist Physicians: Assist physicians with rounds, physical examinations, and treatments as needed.
- Maintain Infection Control: Maintain infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Assist with Research: Assist with research related to the quality of nursing care, as assigned.
- Assist with Records and Orders: Assist with records, orders, and assessment of new admissions unit/hall.
- Registered Nurse License: Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
- Education: Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- CPR Certification: CPR certified yearly.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make decisions regarding nursing problems, realizing that errors and incompetence may have serious consequences for patients.
