About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Yuma Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our outpatient Gastroenterology team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences, medical history, and current health status.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing, to identify and manage gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, while also educating patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and hepatology, incorporating evidence-based practices into your care.
