Work Schedule: PRN - This role involves providing coverage during weekdays (varies Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) and being on call one weekend each month, along with holiday rotation from 8am-12pm.
Shift: As needed
Position Overview: Support physicians in delivering medical care within a clinical environment. Effectively communicate with physicians and colleagues regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions, including diagnostic results and symptoms.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Assist physicians in administering medical care to patients in a clinical setting.
- Document essential information in patient records through dictation or handwriting.
- Guide patients through procedures, schedule appointments, and respond to medically related inquiries as directed by the physician.
- Perform venipuncture, administer injections, and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Measure and accurately record patient vital signs.
Qualifications - External
Skills and Experience Required:
- Valid RN license in North Carolina is mandatory.
- BLS certification is required within six months of employment.
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
