Job Title: Family Practice Physician

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician to provide medical services as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct medical histories and physical examinations
* Review medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories
* Assess applicant medical documentation and render medical opinions
* Provide medical services to applicants for various programs

Requirements:

* Must be a licensed Physician (MD/DO) with a current, unrestricted license from any US state or territory
* Must have completed a residency or provided direct patient care within the last three years
* Must have a minimum of one year of post-graduate training accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
* Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Certification from the American Heart Association
* Medical school must be accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Possess computer skills necessary to access and update electronic applicant medical documentation
* Ability to access and respond to email communications
* Ability to use internet sites to obtain information on medical issues

Physical Demands:

* The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear
* The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
* The employee is occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
