Role Responsibilities

The Preschool Educator will be responsible for:

• Designing and executing an engaging educational curriculum tailored to developmental milestones and early learning standards.
• Leading by example to foster a collaborative teaching environment through effective modeling and mentorship.
• Planning and implementing both individual and group activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional development among children.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with parents through informal discussions, progress updates, and scheduled conferences.
• Ensuring compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
• Creating a safe and healthy classroom atmosphere, upholding hygiene and cleanliness standards, and ensuring the safety and security of all children.
• Supervising teacher assistants and volunteers to guarantee adherence to planned activities and safety protocols.
• Keeping accurate records and documentation.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance personal and organizational quality.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess:

• A clear criminal background check.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
• A high level of energy and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents, fostering a supportive team atmosphere.
• A solid understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.
