Trash Collector (2nd Shift) Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trash Collector (2nd Shift) to join our team at Valet Living. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect trash from residents' doorsteps using a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Transport trash bags to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community.
  • Take required photos using our company's App during service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective trash collection.
Requirements:
  • 18 years old.
  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
  • Capable of adapting to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions.
  • Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
What We Offer:
  • Hourly pay: $17-$20/hr - depends on location.
  • Associates with a pickup truck or vehicle using a trailer will receive the higher end of our pay range to compensate for the use of their vehicle.
  • The option to get paid daily with the app DailyPay.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
