The Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness Services is a key leadership position at Southern Regional Medical Center, responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation and wellness programs to meet the identified needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain rehabilitation and wellness programs to meet the identified needs of the community.
- Manage fiscal and personnel resources, performance improvement, information management, strategic planning, marketing, community education, physician/customer relations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation.
- Oversee the rehab services and establish guidelines, workflows, and metrics for the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy programs.
- Master's Degree in a Medical Rehabilitation field preferred.
- Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.
- Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state.
- BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current.
