Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $22 to $30 per hour based on experience
Role Summary:
Rust Belt Recruiting is representing a prominent manufacturer specializing in aftermarket performance exhaust systems that utilizes advanced CNC technology. We are in search of a CNC Press Brake Technician who is dedicated, skilled, and eager to enhance their expertise. The CNC Press Brake Technician will be tasked with the setup, programming, operation, and management of CNC press brake equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and load CNC press brake programs
- Operate press brake machinery with accuracy and effectiveness
- Handle materials with care during loading and unloading processes
- Interpret and analyze manufacturing blueprints with precision
- Comprehend necessary tolerances and specifications
- Uphold high-quality standards and actively seek process improvements
- Achieve productivity targets for daily, weekly, and special projects
- Utilize forklifts for material handling and truck loading/unloading
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with CNC machinery
- Prior experience with press brakes (Trumpf, Amada, or Bystronic preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience in a high-quality, low-volume production environment
- Skilled in using gauges, protractors, and calipers for part qualification
- Capable of making program adjustments to meet specifications
- Experience in training and onboarding other operators
- Organized, reliable, and open to learning
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight
